At Ubuntu Heart & Super Speciality Hospital, we strive to provide the best medical care and services. However, we understand that situations may arise where a refund is required. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are applicable.
1. General Refund Policy
- Refunds are processed only in specific cases, such as overpayment, service unavailability, or cancellations within the stipulated time frame.
- Refunds are not applicable for services already availed, consultations completed, or procedures conducted.
2. Consultation Fee Refund
- Cancellation Before Appointment: If a consultation is canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time, a full refund may be issued.
- No-Show or Late Cancellation: If a patient does not show up or cancels less than 24 hours before the appointment, the consultation fee will not be refunded.
3. Surgery & Procedure Refunds
- Prepaid Surgeries or Procedures: Refunds for canceled procedures will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Any non-refundable expenses (such as pre-surgical tests or administrative charges) will be deducted.
- Procedure Cancellation by Hospital: If the hospital cancels a procedure due to medical or operational reasons, a full refund will be provided or rescheduled at no additional cost.
4. Diagnostic Tests & Lab Services Refund
- Cancellation Before Sample Collection: Full refund if canceled before the test is conducted.
- Cancellation After Sample Collection: No refund once the sample has been collected and the test is in progress.
5. Room Booking & Admission Refund
- Advance Deposits: If a patient cancels their admission before being admitted, the advance deposit may be refunded after deducting administrative charges.
- Early Discharge: Refunds for early discharge are subject to approval and depend on the hospital’s billing policies.
6. Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days via the original mode of payment.
- Refund status inquiries can be made via email or phone.
7. Exceptions & Non-Refundable Services
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Emergency treatments and life-saving procedures.
- Completed consultations or diagnostic tests.
- Medicines, consumables, or medical supplies purchased.
- Services partially availed before cancellation.
